Dear Patient,
Making the decision to heal your pain requires both education and communication. It takes courage to face pain and choosing a qualified physician is the first step. Because I am a pain specialist, my understanding of pain overlaps many fields of medicine-and therefore I am knowledgeable about a greater number of options for you. I am skilled in diagnosis and determining exactly what approach will provide the greatest success, but I don't rely on any one technique like most other specialties.
It is critical to have a high degree of trust in your doctor and that necessitates a clinical environment that is both skilled and comfortable for the patient. In our
consultation, I'll be direct in answering your questions and, if necessary, give you examples of my work so that you can have confidence in my abilities as a physician. I have spent many years dedicated to healing patients of their pain.
On the following pages, you can find information about the latest pain research, treatment techniques and my personal philosophy on pain management and healing. There are also concise explanations of the procedures I work with every day. I am happy to go into greater detail about any of these.
I am proud of the quality of life I have given many of my patients-and the fact that they feel well cared for in our office.
I look forward to working with you.
Sincerely,
Bradley Carpentier, M.D.
